L-Tyrosine

L-Tyrosine is an amino acid used to synthesis proteins. It has been proven in many studies that L-Tyrosine reduces levels of stress (physical and mental) in fatigued individuals. L-Tyrosine may therefore benefit individuals that train on a regular basis, and especially those dieting due to the extra strain placed on the body with a calorie deficit.

L-Tyrosine is naturally present in protein rich sources such as meat and fish. A balanced diet should provide ample L-Tyrosine, however when dieting it may be beneficial to supplement this amino acid to prevent stress on the body.
